India Unveils Symbolic Logo and Portal for BRICS 2026 Presidency
India launches BRICS 2026 logo and website. Focus on 'Humanity-First' approach, innovation, and sustainability during its 20th-anniversary presidency.
The newly unveiled logo is a masterclass in cultural diplomacy, blending Indian identity with global solidarity. Inspired by the Lotus, India’s national flower, the design features internal petals shaped like two hands joined in a 'Namaste'—the traditional Indian gesture of respect and greeting. The five outer petals carry the distinct colors of the founding nations—Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa—symbolizing unity amidst diversity.
"India's presidency will provide a coherent framework for the three fundamental pillars: political and security, economic and financial, and cultural and people-to-people exchanges," Dr. Jaishankar stated. He further noted that the "People-Centric" vision aims to strengthen collective capacities for global welfare.
The newly launched website will serve as the primary digital gateway for the summit, providing real-time updates on meetings, policy initiatives, and outcomes. Over the past two decades, BRICS has evolved from an economic concept into a powerful platform for emerging markets. As India takes the helm, the focus remains on amplifying the voice of the Global South and fostering practical cooperation in an increasingly fragmented world.
