Commanding Excellence: Shailendra Pratap Singh’s Journey to the Rank of DIG

Lucknow : Senior and distinguished officer of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Mr. Shailendra Pratap Singh, has been promoted to the prestigious rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) following the recommendation of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). 

This significant achievement stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment, professional excellence, and steadfast service to the nation.

A 2004-batch officer of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Mr. Singh has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership, strong administrative acumen, and exceptional operational competence throughout his career. As the head of the Special Security Group (SSG), he has effectively supervised the security arrangements for Z+ and Z category protectees, further enhancing the organization’s efficiency, reliability, and strategic preparedness.

This elevation is not only a personal milestone for Mr. Singh but also reinforces the enduring values of discipline, dedication, and excellence within the security forces. In his new role as Deputy Inspector General, he is expected to shoulder greater responsibilities and contribute significantly toward strengthening the national security framework while guiding the organization to greater heights.
