India’s Auto Aftermarket Targets $200 Billion Milestone as Global Giants Converge in New Delhi

Lucknow : India’s automotive landscape is shifting into high gear as the nation moves from a regional player to a central pillar of the global supply chain. With the industry valuation projected to soar as high as USD 200 billion by 2030, the upcoming ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2026 is set to be the definitive staging ground for this transformation.

Scheduled for 5–7 February 2026 at the state-of-the-art Yashobhoomi (IICC) in Dwarka, the event arrives at a pivotal moment. The Indian auto component sector, currently valued at USD 80.2 billion, has demonstrated remarkable resilience, growing 6.8% in the first half of FY26 alone. This surge is fueled by aggressive "Make in India" initiatives, strategic PLI schemes, and a rapid pivot toward electric mobility.

The sixth edition of this premier trade fair will host over 870 exhibitors, creating a massive nexus for OEMs, distributors, and international buyers. Beyond mere trade, the expo highlights India’s role as a "reliable and competitive partner" in global value chains.

"ACMA Automechanika will showcase how the industry is advancing in sync with global trends, particularly in tech-driven solutions to combat climate change," noted Raj Manek, Executive Director of Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings.

As the aftermarket sector alone hits USD 11.8 billion, the focus has shifted toward high-quality, structured growth. Vinnie Mehta, Director General of ACMA, emphasized that the industry's $41.2 billion performance in H1 FY26 is just the beginning.

  • The expo will serve as a launchpad for:
  • Clean-fuel ecosystems and sustainable component solutions.
  • Deep localization to reduce import dependency.
  • Advanced digital diagnostics for modern garages and fleet operators.

By bridging the gap between local manufacturing prowess and global quality standards, India is no longer just participating in the fast lane—it’s leading it.
