Hallet Hospital Bolsters Security with Deployment of 12 Female Military Guards
Hallet Hospital Kanpur deploys 12 female military guards to enhance safety for women patients and medical staff.
Strategic Deployment & Oversight
- The new security personnel were formally briefed on their duties during an induction session attended by:
- Dr. Sanjay Kala, Principal, GSVM Medical College.
- Dr. Anurag Rajauria, Nodal Officer (Outsourced Manpower).
The guards have been primarily stationed in the Emergency Department (Casualty)—the hospital’s most sensitive and high-traffic zone. Their role extends beyond mere surveillance; they are trained to provide immediate assistance to female patients and their families, ensuring that every woman entering the facility feels respected and supported.
"Our objective is to provide a dignified and cooperative atmosphere where every female doctor, staff member, and visitor feels entirely safe," stated Dr. Sanjay Kala during the briefing.
The administration highlighted that these guards, coming from military backgrounds, bring a high level of discipline and vigilance to the medical college and its affiliated hospitals. This move is part of a broader strategy to modernize hospital management and prioritize the safety of vulnerable groups.
