LUCKNOW-Bajaj Finserv has officially completed the acquisition of a 23% stake in its insurance subsidiaries from Germany's Allianz SE for ₹21,390 crore. This historic transaction gives the Bajaj Group nearly 97% ownership, granting them total strategic control over their life and general insurance businesses.
The buyout marks the end of a successful 24-year partnership. Operating under the rebranded Bajaj General Insurance and Bajaj Life Insurance names, the group now gains the flexibility to launch innovative products and scale independently in India’s rapidly growing insurance market.
