Suhaib Khan’s All-Round Heroics Lead Subhash Chandra Bose Club to Dominant Victory

Prayagraj : An exceptional all-round performance by Suhaib Khan, supported by a lethal bowling attack from Virat Gupta and Lakshya Yadav, powered the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Club to a commanding eight-wicket victory over Vishnu Bhagwan Public School (VBPS). The match was part of the ongoing Dr. DN Tiwari Memorial Under-16 Cricket Tournament.

VBPS Struggles Against Disciplined Bowling
Electing to bat first after winning the toss on their home ground, Vishnu Bhagwan Public School managed to post a total of 159 runs in 28.4 overs. While Kartikeya Singh (58), Arun Pal (40), and Akash Shukla (26) made notable contributions, the batting lineup crumbled under the pressure applied by the opposition's bowlers.

Suhaib Khan Dominates the Chase
Chasing a target of 160, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Club reached the mark with ease in just 22.5 overs, losing only two wickets. Suhaib Khan led the charge with a blistering 93 runs off 71 balls, decorated with 14 boundaries and a six. He was well-supported by Harshit G. Sahay, who remained unbeaten on 44.

Recognition and Next Fixture
Suhaib Khan was named 'Man of the Match,' receiving his award from former India U-19 cricketer and UPCA junior selector Mohammad Zahid Ali. Organizing committee president Raju Natesan also welcomed the guests with mementos.
