Kanpur’s Super Specialty Hospital Celebrates 2nd Anniversary

Kanpur: The Super Specialty Block of Hallet Hospital, affiliated with GSVM Medical College, celebrated its second anniversary with a vibrant cultural program organized by students within the hospital premises. The event marked a milestone for the institution, which has rapidly emerged as a premier healthcare hub in the region.

Future-Ready Healthcare: Liver Transplants Soon Addressing the gathering, Principal Prof. Dr. Sanjay Kala highlighted the hospital’s rising global reputation. "In just two years, this facility has made its mark not only in the state but internationally. We are now scaling our research initiatives and are set to launch liver transplant services very soon," Dr. Kala stated. He commended the medical and paramedical staff for their unwavering dedication.

A Record-Breaking Performance Nodal Officer and renowned Neurosurgeon Dr. Manish Singh shared impressive statistical growth. He revealed that the hospital successfully performed over 20,000 operations within two years. The OPD footfall also saw a massive surge, rising from 2,34,786 patients in 2024 to even higher numbers in 2025, reflecting growing public trust.

The celebration was attended by Vice Principal Dr. Richa Giri, CMS Dr. Saurabh Agarwal, Gastroenterology Head Dr. Vinay Sachan, Dr. Chayanika Kala, and Pain Clinic Specialist Dr. Chandrashekhar, alongside the dedicated hospital staff.
