LUCKNOW-Japanese investment giant SoftBank has reduced its stake in Ola Electric Mobility Ltd by selling 2.15% of its holdings through the open market. The transaction, executed by its vehicle SVF II Ostrich (DE) LLC, involved the sale of over 9.46 crore shares.
Following this divestment, SoftBank's shareholding in the EV manufacturer dropped from 15.68% to 13.53%. The sell-off, concluded by January 5, 2026, triggered SEBI disclosure requirements after breaching the 2% threshold, causing a slight intraday dip in Ola Electric's share price.
