Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 Sets June OTT Release Date on Prime Video

Kochi: Following a blockbuster run in theaters that saw it cross the ₹230 crore mark globally, the highly anticipated Malayalam crime thriller Drishyam 3 is officially heading to the digital screen. Streaming giant Amazon Prime Video announced on Saturday that the Mohanlal-starrer will make its exclusive OTT premiere on June 18, 2026, less than a month after its grand theatrical release on May 21.  

Directed by franchise mastermind Jeethu Joseph, the third installment will be available to stream in its original Malayalam audio, alongside official dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, targeting audiences across 200 countries.  

Drishyam 3 picks up several years after the harrowing events of Drishyam 2. Georgekutty (played by Mohanlal) has successfully safeguarded his family and turned his past ordeal into a hit film. However, the peace is shattered when two investigative journalists begin digging into the real-life inspiration behind his movie. Simultaneously, a meticulously planned marriage proposal for his daughter, Anju, unfolds as a lethal trap set by old adversaries.

Forced into a corner, Georgekutty must rely on his sharp wits once more to outmaneuver the law and protect his family from an avalanche of guilt, fear, and fresh suspicion.  Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Aashirvad Cinemas, the film reunites the iconic core cast, including Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, and Siddique. Speaking about the OTT launch, Mohanlal expressed deep gratitude to fans, noting that Drishyam 3 moves beyond the central mystery to explore a deeply human story about family, love, and sheer survival.

Director Jeethu Joseph added that this chapter deliberately focuses on the severe psychological toll and constant underlying fear Georgekutty carries as a father.
