Charak Institute of Education Lucknow Celebrates 80th Independence Day with Patriotic Fervour and Tiranga Yatra

Lucknow : The Charak Institute of Education, Lucknow, commemorated India’s 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm, dignity, and national pride across its campus. The official proceedings commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the national tricolour, jointly led by the institution’s Chairperson, Smt. Ritu Singh, along with Dr. Anuradha Tripathi, Principal of Charak Institute of Education, and Smt. Kamna Yusuf, Principal of the Nursing Department.

Following the flag hoisting ceremony, students organized a grand Tiranga Yatra to honour the national flag. The campus resonated with patriotic spirit as students across various academic programs—including Nursing, Humanities, B.Sc., B.Com, and both the three-year and five-year LL.B. courses—showcased their creative talents through cultural dance performances, patriotic singing, and thematic exhibitions.

Addressing the gathering, Chairperson Smt. Ritu Singh highlighted the significance of Independence Day and urged the youth to take an active role in shaping the nation's future. Principal Dr. Anuradha Tripathi shared key insights into the history of the freedom struggle, emphasizing the values of liberty and the duties students carry toward overall national development.

The event concluded on a patriotic note with the rendition of the National Anthem. Dr. Satish Chandra, Programme Officer of NSS Unit-1, delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging the active participation and efforts of department heads, faculty members, staff, and students in making the celebration a success.
