Bollywood Actor Aamir Khan Confirms Intimate July 5 Wedding With Partner Gauri Spratt

Mumbai : In a delightful revelation for cinema fans, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has officially confirmed that he will be tying the knot with his partner, Gauri Spratt, on Sunday, July 5, 2026. The 61-year-old actor shared the major life update on Thursday evening while interacting with paparazzi at the star-studded screening of director Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming debut web series, Pritam and Pedro.  

Dressed casually and accompanied by his actor-son Junaid Khan, Aamir put an end to weeks of intense media speculation regarding his relationship status. Speaking warmly to reporters, the acclaimed actor revealed that the couple has chosen to skip a grand, opulent Bollywood gala in favor of a deeply personal, low-key celebration at his Pali Hill residence in Bandra, Mumbai.  

"Yes, I am getting married on July 5," Aamir announced with a smile. "It is going to be a very small, intimate wedding hosted right at home with both our families and a few close friends. It is a very special day for us. We seek everyone's prayers and blessings, and we hope that we have a wonderful, happy journey together ahead."

 Industry insiders indicate that the couple will register their marriage under the Special Marriage Act. Making the occasion particularly meaningful, the intimate ceremony will closely involve all four children from their respective previous relationships—including Aamir’s children Junaid, Ira, and Azad, along with Gauri’s young son, Quinn—forming a warm, blended family celebration.  

Gauri Spratt, a highly successful 47-year-old entrepreneur and creative director originally from Bengaluru, first went public with Aamir during his 60th birthday celebrations in March last year. Well-wishers across the industry, including actor Vicky Kaushal who attended the same screening, have flooded the couple with congratulatory messages for their upcoming nuptials.
