Bollywood Actor Salman Khan Backs Protesting Students Urging That The Movement Avoid Political Hijacking

Mumbai :  Bollywood superstar Salman Khan extended explicit support to students protesting against competitive examination paper leaks across the country, describing examination leaks as a "very serious issue" while appealing that the ongoing youth agitation should not be hijacked for political gains. Joining a growing contingent of prominent public figures speaking on the issue, Khan praised the determination shown by demonstrating candidates and expressed solidarity with those injured during recent street clashes in New Delhi.

Taking to social media, the actor lamented that an otherwise peaceful student-led movement had turned violent following recent confrontations near Jantar Mantar and Parliament Street. Khan stated that his heart goes out to the students and families affected by the unrest. He lauded the courage and dedication of young aspirants coming together to advocate for systemic reforms within the national educational ecosystem, noting that the younger generation's drive for educational integrity will ultimately make the country proud.

Crucially, Khan cautioned against political opportunistic exploitation of the student movement led by groups such as the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). He emphasized that the issue remains fundamentally between the student community and educational authorities, asserting that full credit for raising national awareness belongs strictly to the students rather than partisan political entities. The actor expressed confidence that administrative authorities would respond constructively to safeguard merit and build a more robust examination framework.

Khan's statement comes amid continuing deadlocks in Parliament and ongoing sit-in demonstrations across the national capital, where opposition leaders and student organizations continue to press for executive accountability over administrative examination failures.
