Yash Raj Films Drops Action Packed Female Anthem Massacre From Movie Alpha

Mumbai: Yash Raj Films has officially dropped "Massacre," the explosive first track from its highly anticipated espionage thriller, Alpha. Serving as a high-octane celebration of female power and resilience, the music video showcases lead stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh in never-seen-before, fierce avatars that have set social media ablaze.

The track, which plays during the film's post-credit sequence, is meticulously designed as an unapologetic female anthem. Sung by powerhouses Shilpa Rao and Jonita Gandhi alongside Rohansh Pandit and Abeer Pandit, the composition delivers an intense, rhythmic soundscape tailored perfectly for a modern spy thriller. Energetically choreographed by Bosco Leslie Martis, the routine features synchronised, sharp footwork that accentuates the bold, alpha personas of both lead characters.

Speaking about the track's fierce emotional core, singer Shilpa Rao shared, "'Massacre' embodies the spirit of a woman who is completely fearless, unapologetic, and owns her power. While recording, I connected deeply with the raw emotion behind the words."

Ahead of the official release, Alia and Sharvari had playfully teased a brief snippet of the song during an impromptu Instagram Live session while driving around Mumbai, sending fans into an absolute frenzy. While the edgy blending of bilingual lyrics drew minor criticism from online internet trolls, the full musical version has been largely lauded as a refreshing change from Bollywood's current remix culture. The track establishes a gripping, high-energy mood that seamlessly fits into India’s first female-led spy universe entry. Fans have flooded digital platforms to praise the electric chemistry between the two female leads, solidifying the song's status as a definitive anthem for sisterhood and empowerment.
