State Government Working With Total Honesty And Transparency

Shimla:Reaffirming his administration's dedication to clean governance, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu stated that the state government is working with absolute honesty, transparency, and a profound spirit of public service. Speaking at the inauguration of an eco-tourism project near the capital, the Chief Minister highlighted crucial administrative milestones aimed at boosting the rural economy and directly supporting citizens.

The Chief Minister countered political opposition, stating that public faith remains the government's strongest asset despite misinformation campaigns. To demonstrate his administration's farmer-centric approach, he pointed to the significant enhancement of the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for naturally grown regional crops, including wheat, maize, barley, turmeric, and ginger. Additionally, the state has systematically raised milk procurement prices over the past three years to guarantee better financial returns for local dairy farmers.

"Our priorities are rooted in transparent governance that translates directly into measurable public welfare," the Chief Minister stated. "We are focusing infrastructure development where it is needed most, bypassing bureaucratic delays to empower rural communities."

As part of the infrastructure expansion, the Chief Minister announced a fresh financial allocation of ₹5.20 crore dedicated to constructing 16 essential roads under the Forest Rights Act (FRA) in the Kusumpti constituency. Local ministers echoed these sentiments, noting that over a hundred roads in surrounding rural belts have already been successfully upgraded and metalled.

The administration’s transparent framework is also driving major environmental and tourism initiatives. Officials noted that newly developed ecological trails will not only preserve biodiversity but also create direct self-employment avenues for local youth, showcasing how honest governance seamlessly blends public welfare with economic innovation.
