Shimla : The state capital witnessed high political drama as rival political groups staged simultaneous demonstrations outside the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office in Shimla over the ongoing paper leak controversy. The standoff led to heightened tensions in the area, requiring heavy police intervention to maintain public order.

Youth and opposition activists gathered near the BJP headquarters, holding placards and shouting slogans against administration failures regarding national competitive examinations. The demonstrators alleged that repeated paper leaks have compromised the integrity of selection processes, directly impacting the career prospects of thousands of students across Himachal Pradesh.
