Vadodara : Celebrating 15 years of empowering the next generation, India’s International Movement to Unite Nations (I.I.M.U.N.) has announced the induction of Justice Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud, the 50th Chief Justice of India, to its prestigious Advisory Board. Following in the footsteps of cinematic icon Karan Johar, Justice Chandrachud’s appointment marks a significant milestone for the world’s largest youth-led non-profit.
The announcement was the highlight of the 4th Vadodara Literature Festival, held from January 27th to 29th. Organized in collaboration with Parul University, the bipartisan event drew an unprecedented crowd of over 22,500 students from 300+ educational institutions. The festival served as a vibrant hub for critical thinking, featuring 60+ intellectual luminaries spanning fields from entrepreneurship to public policy.
Justice Chandrachud was formally welcomed to the board by General Manoj Naravane, former Chief of the Indian Army, and I.I.M.U.N. Founder Rishabh Shah. His induction reinforces the organization’s commitment to constitutional morality and ethical leadership. Known for landmark rulings on individual liberty and judicial transparency, Justice Chandrachud is widely regarded as a progressive voice that resonates with India's youth.
Reflecting on his new role, Justice Chandrachud stated, "I.I.M.U.N. reflects the transformative potential of the young generation leading the charge to a vibrant India. It brings social values founded on our Constitution to the forefront."
Rishabh Shah added that in an era of digital noise, Justice Chandrachud represents "clarity, reason, and conscience," providing the intellectual depth necessary to mentor future leaders who are globally aware yet culturally grounded.
