Dhanupur Club Clinches Trishul Cricket Championship Title
Dhanupur Club defeated Rudra Coaching by 6 wickets to win the Trishul Cricket Championship in Prayagraj, securing a ₹51,000 prize.
Prayagraj: In a one-sided final at the Devaraji Premchand Public School (DPPS) ground, Dhanupur Club defeated Rudra Coaching by six wickets to lift the prestigious Trishul Cricket Championship trophy.
Opting to bat first in the 10-over showdown, Rudra Coaching struggled against a disciplined bowling attack, managing a meager 34 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Mohammad Kaif top-scored with 10 runs, while Dhanupur’s Mohammad Sahil and Arif Ansari dismantled the lineup, taking two wickets each for just 2 and 5 runs, respectively.
Dhanupur Club chased down the target comfortably, reaching 35/4 in just seven overs. Chandan played a match-winning knock of 24 runs, earning him the Man of the Match award and a cash prize of ₹5,000, presented by Director Tripti Srivastava.
The Chief Guest, Dhanupur Block Pramukh Jyoti Yadav, presented the winners with a trophy and ₹51,000 cash, while DPPS Chairman Anshul Heermani Pandey awarded the runners-up ₹21,000. The event concluded with Chairman Pandey honoring Coach Sachin Prakash Singh and Principal Kuldeep Khare delivering the vote of thanks.
