Prayagraj : In a display of strategic brilliance and mental fortitude, the students of Saraswati Vidya Mandir Madhav Gyan Kendra, Naini, have secured the Overall Championship at the Inter-School Chess Competition. Held at the R.R.B. Public School in Naini, the tournament saw fierce competition from eight prominent schools across the city.

The Madhav Gyan Kendra team delivered a clinical performance, amassing a total of 30.5 points to claim the top spot on the podium.

• The school showcased depth across different age categories, with participants demonstrating exceptional skill:
• Under-13 Category: Harsh Kumar, Adamya Chandra, Ayush Tiwari, Piyush Pandey, Satvik Dwivedi, and Alok Singh.
• Under-17 Category: Anant Kushwaha, Ananya Kushwaha, Divyansh Singh, Prakhar Pandey, Shikhar Dwivedi, and Shaurya Sharma.

The victory is a testament to the rigorous training and guidance provided by the school’s sports teacher, Vijay Kumar Maurya, who led the contingent throughout the preparation and the competition.
