Ananya Panday And Lakshya Starrer Chand Mera Dil Set For OTT Premiere

Mumbai: Nearly two months after its theatrical debut, the romantic drama Chand Mera Dil, starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya, is officially transitioning to digital screens. Following the completion of its run in cinema halls, the film is scheduled to make its highly anticipated global OTT premiere.  Directed by Vivek Soni and produced under the banner of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Chand Mera Dil hit theatres on May 22, 2026.

The film chronicles the journey of two young college lovers, Aarav (played by Lakshya) and Chandni (played by Ananya Panday), whose youthful romance is heavily upended as they enter adulthood, face sudden responsibilities, and battle mutual insecurities.

 During its theatrical stint, the film drew a mixed response from viewers and critics alike, with many praising the leading pair’s on-screen chemistry but criticizing the narrative's emotional commitment. Despite the polarized reviews, it managed to collect a decent sum at the box office against its modest production budget. Given the massive digital fanbase of both Ananya Panday and Lakshya, the production house expects the emotional coming-of-age drama to find a broader, highly receptive audience on streaming platforms.
