MAX@Home Launches Comprehensive Home Healthcare Programme for Senior Citizens in Lucknow

Lucknow : On World Senior Citizens Day, MAX@Home—the home healthcare division of Max Healthcare—in collaboration with Max Super Speciality Hospital, Lucknow, announced the launch of the 'MAX Comprehensive Elder Care Programme'. Designed to address the needs of an aging demographic, the initiative brings structured, hospital-backed medical support directly into the homes of elderly residents across Lucknow and surrounding regions.

India's senior population is projected to reach nearly 15% of the total population by 2036. With more young professionals working away from home, aging parents often manage chronic health conditions like diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and dementia independently. Developed under the clinical guidance of Dr. Asit Kumar, Consultant in Geriatric and Internal Medicine, this program bridges the caregiving gap by offering continuous monitoring and personalized assistance.

The program integrates a multidisciplinary care framework tailored to varied patient needs. Key features include:

Clinical & Nursing Support: Comprehensive home-based geriatric assessments, virtual consultations with geriatricians, dedicated nursing, and vital sign monitoring.

Therapy & Wellness Services: On-site physiotherapy sessions along with virtual nutrition and psychological counseling.

Emergency & Administrative Care: 24x7 virtual emergency assistance, ambulance coordination, full-body blood checkups, and routine wellness check-ins by dedicated care managers.

Highlighting the launch, Vikram Verma, Executive Vice President & Business Head at MAX@Home, stated that the integrated model combines clinical expertise and technology to provide connected, patient-centric care. Dr. Asit Kumar added that bringing hospital-grade care to seniors' homes helps them retain independence, dignity, and quality of life while offering peace of mind to distant family members.

Enrolment for the program opened on August 21, 2026. Families can sign up by contacting the 24x7 MAX@Home helpline at 8744 888 888, visiting the helpdesk at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Lucknow, or consulting with hospital physicians. Each enrollee undergoes a baseline clinical evaluation to map out a customized care plan.
