Rotary Club of Atullya Kanpur Celebrates 11th Installation Ceremony Under 'Create Lasting Impact' Theme

Kanpur : The Rotary Club of Atullya Kanpur hosted its 11th Installation Ceremony in a solemn and enthusiastic atmosphere, centered around the theme "Create Lasting Impact." The event reflected the club's ongoing commitment to driving sustainable, meaningful social change across the region.

Chief Guest and Key Leadership Appointments
Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana attended as the Chief Guest, joined by prominent Rotarians, civic leaders, and distinguished guests.

During the ceremony, the new leadership team officially assumed charge for the 2026–27 Rotary term:

Dr. Vibha Shukla took the oath of office as President.

Dr. Neeru Tandon stepped into the role of Secretary.

Outgoing President Yatindra Shukla and outgoing Secretary Ritesh Gupta presented a summary of the club's past achievements before handing over operational responsibilities.

The formal proceedings featured traditional Rotary protocols, including the lapel pin and collar exchange, the symbolic passing of the Service Torch, and the induction of new club members.

In her acceptance speech, incoming President Dr. Vibha Shukla pledged to elevate the club's community service initiatives, social responsibility projects, and innovative outreach programs. Secretary Dr. Neeru Tandon outlined the proposed roadmap and core social projects slated for execution during the 2026–27 session.

Recognitions and Honors
A key highlight of the installation was the presentation of the "Atullya Woman for Vision Award," conferred upon Shefali Bajaj and Kajal Bhadauria for their outstanding contributions and leadership. The club also presented mementos and tokens of appreciation to Chief Guest Satish Mahana and other visiting dignitaries.

Mock Rotarian Himanshu Singh spearheaded the program's stage management. The organizing committee—including Rotarian Pawan Shahdadpuri, ANN Kanchan Gupta, and Rotarian Vinay Gupta—concluded the ceremony with a formal vote of thanks acknowledging attendees and supporters.
