Tragic Fire Erupts At Residential Complex In Noida Leaving Two Dead

Noida : A massive and devastating fire broke out at a five-story residential building in Mamura village, located in Noida's Sector 66, leaving two people dead. The fast-spreading blaze trapped dozens of residents inside the structure, prompting a high-stakes, multi-hour rescue operation by emergency response teams.

According to initial reports from local law enforcement and fire department officials, the fire is believed to have originated in the building's ground-floor parking area. Witnesses stated that an electric bike caught fire due to a sudden electrical spark.

The flames quickly fed on nearby parked vehicles and electrical wiring, sending thick, suffocating plumes of toxic black smoke billowing upward through the central stairwell and upper floors of the dense residential complex.

Panic quickly spread throughout the building as the thick smoke blocked the primary exit paths. Trapped on the upper levels, several terrified residents were seen using temporary ladders and making desperate dashes to the terrace to escape the rising heat.  

Upon receiving emergency distress calls, multiple fire tenders and rescue teams rushed to the site. Firefighters utilized extended ladders and specialized breathing equipment to navigate the smoke-filled building, successfully evacuating approximately 50 families who were stranded across different floors.  Unfortunately, despite the prompt rescue efforts, two individuals succumbed to severe smoke inhalation and burn injuries before they could be safely extracted.

 Authorities have cordoned off the building to prevent further collapse, and the local administration has stepped in to provide temporary shelter, food, and essential medical assistance to the displaced families. A full forensic investigation is currently underway to assess structural safety.
