Kaushambi PRD Jawans Get ₹100 Daily Allowance Hike: Pay Scaled to ₹600
PRD jawans in Kaushambi celebrated CM Yogi Adityanath's key announcements, including a ₹100 daily duty allowance hike to ₹600 and a ₹5 lakh cashless medical health cover.
Kaushambi : Prantiya Rakshak Dal (PRD) jawans stationed across Kaushambi expressed overwhelming gratitude following major welfare announcements made by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Under the newly announced provisions, the daily duty allowance for PRD personnel has been hiked by ₹100, raising their daily remuneration from ₹500 to ₹600.
In addition to the financial increment, the state government extended medical security by granting PRD jawans access to cashless healthcare facilities worth up to ₹5 lakh. The comprehensive package aims to provide robust health coverage and social security to the personnel and their families.
Personnel gathered at the Vikas Bhawan in Kaushambi to watch the live telecast of the Chief Minister's address. Jubilant scenes broke out across the premises as news of the dual benefit was confirmed. Personnel cheered the decision, stating that the daily wage increase would offer meaningful economic relief amid rising living costs while significantly boosting overall morale.
Community leaders and local officials described the welfare measures as a landmark step toward empowering non-regularized security forces in the state. The decision reflects a long-pending recognition of the vital public safety, traffic management, and administrative duties PRD jawans perform alongside the conventional police force.
