Prayagraj : To strengthen inter-departmental synergy ahead of Magh Mela-2026, a friendly cricket match between DM-11 and DRM-11 was held at the DSA Ground. Inaugurated by Divisional Commissioner Soumya Aggarwal, the 15-over contest aimed at fostering coordination between the district administration and railway officials.
Batting first, DM-11 posted 116/7, powered by Meladhikari Rishiraj’s top score of 31. Chasing 117, DRM-11 fell short by 7 runs, finishing at 109/3 despite Akash Srinetra’s valiant 48. DM Manish Kumar Verma’s economical bowling (7 runs in 2 overs) proved decisive. Rishiraj was named 'Player of the Match' for his all-round performance in this spirit-building event.
