Mathura. Under Swachhata Hi Seva Fortnight (from 17 September to 2 October 2023), on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, a cleanliness quiz was organized by the Panchayat Raj Department in the auditorium of BSA Engineering College, Mathura on 2 October 2023. Rajesh Choudhary, MLA Mant, Puran Prakash, MLA Baldev, District Magistrate Shailendra Singh, Chief Development Officer Manish Meena, MP representative Janardan Sharma, and District Panchayat Raj Officer Kiran Choudhary looked at the images of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. The wreath was laid and lamp was lit.

A competition for cleanliness quiz winners was organized from all the development blocks in which Mahesh got first place, Krishna Kant got second place and Jai Kishore got third place.
Addressing the sanitation workers present in a number of more than 500, MLA Mant Rajesh Chaudhary said that the sanitation workers are the people whose feet are washed by the country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The sanitation workers have played an important role in keeping the society healthy. 

Puran Prakash inspired the sanitation workers to be extremely conscious about their health and stay away from drugs. District Magistrate Shailendra Kumar Singh said that cleaning work is the biggest service of the country and the biggest religion. All employees should help in making society healthy by fulfilling their duties with full dedication. Chief Development Officer Manish Meena described sanitation workers as the main agents of the development of rural areas. MP representative Janardan Sharma praised the role of sanitation workers in the district. Secretaries Ranveer Singh, Gopal Singh, Brijmohan, Rakesh, Than Singh, Praveen Yadav, Viresh Sharma, Virendra, and Mukesh Yadav, who performed better in the schemes like Sports Ground, Village Secretariat, Open Gym, Amritsar Over etc. in the district, were honored with Vikas Ratna Award.

Along with this, block motivators who did excellent work in Swachh Bharat Mission were also honored. The District Magistrate said that all the Panchayat Assistants from the Village Secretariat should provide online facilities to the villagers, they will be rewarded on various such occasions.

In the program, Shri Rajesh Chaudhary MLA Mant, Shri Puran Prakash MLA Baldev, District Magistrate Shailendra Kumar Singh, Chief Development Officer Manish Meena, MP representative Janardan Sharma, Disha member Bhanu Pratap Singh, District Panchayat Raj Officer Kiran Chaudhary, Additional District Panchayat Raj Officer Nitin Kumar, Assistant Development Officer Panchayat, Gram Panchayat Development Officer and a large number of rural sanitation workers of all 10 development blocks of Mathura district were present.
