Academician and Sports Veteran Prof. Pawan Kumar Pachauri Elected Vice President of District Olympic Association Prayagraj

Prayagraj : The District Olympic Association of Prayagraj officially reconstituted its Executive Committee during a high-profile meeting held at 6, Sarojini Naidu Marg, Civil Lines. In a unanimous decision, the Presidents and General Secretaries of various recognized sports bodies elected Professor Pawan Kumar Pachauri as the Vice President of the Association.

Prof. Pachauri is a distinguished figure in both the sporting and academic worlds. He currently serves as the President of the Archery Association and the Tennis Ball Cricket Association of Prayagraj. His administrative experience includes two terms as the Secretary of the Sports Council at Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University, where he is also the senior-most Professor of Physical Education.

Beyond the field, Prof. Pachauri is a prolific scholar with 62 research papers and 32 books to his credit. He has delivered over 200 guest lectures and completed a prestigious research project for the Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Department.

His election has been met with widespread celebration. Faculty members and athletes from Kulbhaskar Ashram PG College and Rajju Bhaiya University congratulated him, expressing confidence that his leadership will significantly bolster the sporting infrastructure and Olympic spirit in the district.
