Bhavam Club Clinches Amrit Lal Memorial U-19 Cricket Title

Prayagraj: In a clinical display of youth cricket, Bhavam Club secured a decisive four-wicket victory over St. Peter’s Club to lift the prestigious Amrit Lal Memorial U-19 Cricket Tournament trophy.

The final, held this past Sunday at the Ishwar Sharan Degree College ground, saw Bhavam Club’s bowling unit set the tone early. St. Peter’s Club struggled to find momentum against a disciplined attack, eventually being bundled out for 109 runs in 24.5 overs. Agrim Tiwari remained the lone warrior for St. Peter's with an unbeaten 28. The damage was primarily done by Arjit Singh and Saumya Tiwari, who claimed three wickets each, while Siddhu Saini chipped in with two.

Chasing a modest target of 110, Bhavam Club faced some early jitters but were steered to victory by a standout performance from Roshan Kushwaha. His unbeaten 50 anchored the innings, ensuring his side reached 112/6 in 22.1 overs. Despite a spirited bowling effort from Shivansh Pandey (4/15), Bhavam Club crossed the finish line with nearly eight overs to spare.
