Lokayukta submits Himachal Pradesh Human Rights Commission annual report to Governor

Shimla: The Lokayukta of Himachal Pradesh formally presented the annual report of the Himachal Pradesh State Human Rights Commission (HPSHRC) to Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan today. The detailed report highlights the commission's performance, key rulings, and administrative achievements regarding the protection and promotion of human rights across the state.

During the presentation, the Governor was briefed on various inquiries conducted by the human rights body over the preceding year. The report outlines major interventions concerning public safety, administrative accountability, prisoner welfare, and the safeguarding of fundamental rights for vulnerable and underprivileged communities in the hill state.
