Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister interacts with ITI trainees on Kazakhstan exposure visit

Shimla: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu held a telephonic interaction with students from various Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across Himachal Pradesh who are currently on an international exposure visit to Kazakhstan.

During the interaction, the Chief Minister enquired about their practical experiences, industrial insights gained, and overall welfare during the educational tour.  Highlighting a landmark initiative for technical education in the state, the Chief Minister stated that this is the first time the Himachal Pradesh government has organized an overseas exposure tour for ITI trainees.

He urged the 30-member student delegation to fully utilize this global platform to understand advanced industrial operations, Industry 4.0 standards, and automated technology.  Key Highlights:Global Exposure: Trainees participated in academic sessions at Almaty Management University and visited major industrial setups, including automated bottling plants and food processing facilities.  Future Overseas Opportunities:

The CM encouraged students to register with the Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation Overseas Employment Cell for safe and legal job placements abroad.  Expanding Horizons: The state plans to extend similar international exposure programs to doctors and medical students in upcoming phases.  

Led by Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani, the delegation expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister, emphasizing that the exposure has broadened their technical horizons and equipped them with global workplace perspectives. The initiative aligns with the government's broader commitment to modernize vocational education and boost youth employability.
