DAV School Celebrates Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti

Prayagraj: At DAV Sardar Patel School, PPGCL, a joyous celebration was held to honor the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Students presented captivating performances, showcasing key events from Gandhi's life, such as the fight against racial discrimination in South Africa, the call to boycott foreign goods, the Dandi March, and his final journey. A special dance performance to "Sabarmati Ke Sant" mesmerized the audience.

The event also featured speeches on Gandhi's contributions as the 'Father of the Nation' and Shastri’s leadership as India’s second Prime Minister. A race competition was organized for nursery children, adding to the festive spirit. Chief guest CSR Head Ranjan Sharma, along with Soumya Lakshmi, Santram Kanojia, and Principal Pushpanjali Sahu, concluded the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp and offering floral tributes.
