Ahmedabad: Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav emphasized the increasing significance of Hindi in today’s digital age. During the Hindi Pakhwada award ceremony in Ahmedabad, he highlighted how Hindi is expanding its influence in information technology, communication, and innovation. He also awarded 32 winners of various competitions held as part of the celebration. Yadav stressed that Hindi, as India’s official language, connects 140 crore people, playing a pivotal role in shaping India’s linguistic future.
Director Postal Services Ms. Meeta K. Shah added that the Department of Posts conducted competitions like Hindi essay writing, poetry reading, and translation, contributing to the promotion of the language. Winners from diverse categories were honored during the event, encouraging employees to engage more with Hindi. The event also served as a platform to highlight Hindi's growing global presence and its anticipated rise in prominence by 2030.
