Kanpur Hosts 5th Annual Leather Fair 2024: A Grand Unveiling

Kanpur: The Central Regional Office of the Kanpur Leather Export Council (CLE) is gearing up to host the highly anticipated 5th Annual Leather Fair 2024. Scheduled to take place from October 3 to 6, 2024, at Moti Jheel Grounds, Kanpur, this event will spotlight a wide range of leather products including footwear, bags, wallets, jackets, and belts. With over 34 leading manufacturers and exporters participating, the fair aims to position Kanpur as a global hub for leather manufacturing and exports.

Kanpur, already known for its thriving leather industry, contributed significantly to India’s leather export revenue, which crossed ₹38,833.29 crores in 2023-24. The region’s export figures alone surpassed ₹7,000 crores, with domestic turnover exceeding ₹18,000 crores. This year's leather fair will feature prominent brands like Allen Cooper, Modriba, Pair One, and Lucky Tony, showcasing the latest designs in leather fashion and accessories. The event is poised to strengthen Kanpur’s status in India’s trillion-dollar economy initiative.
