District Magistrate Unveils Gandhi and Shastri Portraits

Ambedkar Nagar: On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri's birth anniversaries, Ambedkar Nagar District Magistrate Avinash Singh, along with Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Dr. Sadanand Gupta, hoisted the national flag at the Collectorate. They unveiled a large portrait of both leaders and garlanded it to honor their immense contributions to the nation. The event also included floral tributes to their statues, with all officials and employees paying homage.

During the celebration, students from Navodaya Vidyalaya performed patriotic songs in remembrance of Mahatma Gandhi's ideals. In his address, the District Magistrate highlighted the significance of Gandhi’s 155th birth anniversary and urged everyone to follow his principles of truth and non-violence. He urged officials and employees to be mindful of their duties and dedicated to assisting the needy regularly. The event ended with the District Magistrate presenting cash awards to the participating students.
