District-Level Girls Hockey, Boys Judo, Handball Held

Ambedkar Nagar: A district-level sports competition was organized at Eklavya Sports Stadium, Ambedkar Nagar, on September 26, 2024, for girls' hockey and boys' judo, handball, and weightlifting. The event, overseen by the Uttar Pradesh Sports Directorate, saw enthusiastic involvement. In the handball competition, Eklavya Stadium's team triumphed over B.N. Inter College with a close 30-27 victory, while the girls' hockey finals saw Eklavya Stadium beat Gurukul Academy 4-1.

In the boys' judo and weightlifting categories, participants displayed exceptional talent. In judo, winners emerged across various weight categories, with Virendra Kumar and Shivam securing top positions. The event concluded with MLC Dr. Hariom Pandey congratulating all the participants and encouraging them for future endeavors.
