Lucknow Division: NVS Table Tennis Runners-Up
Lucknow Division’s Table Tennis team excelled, winning Under 17 Boys and achieving overall second place.
Lucknow: In the NVS National Table Tennis Competition from September 2 to 4, 2024, at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Porbandar, the Lucknow Division Table Tennis team excelled with a standout performance. They secured the Under 17 Boys title, finished as runner-up in both the Under 14 Boys and Under 19 Girls categories, and achieved an impressive overall second place across eight divisions.
The Bhopal Division took first place, demonstrating their exceptional prowess. Other competing divisions included Chandigarh, Patna, Pune, Jaipur, Hyderabad, and Shillong.
The Lucknow Division’s success was driven by Team Manager Firoz Ahmed and trainers Shri Sushil Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Sushma Pal, and Neelam Goyal, with guidance from coaches Amisha Verma and Amit Kumar. Their collective expertise and dedication were key to the team’s impressive achievements.
