"All India Men's Prize Money Tennis Tournament" in UP
Five players from Uttar Pradesh reached the pre-quarterfinals of the "All India Men's Tennis" tournament.
SPORTS: Five players from Uttar Pradesh reached the pre-quarterfinals of the "All India Men's Tennis" tournament, which kicked off with a bang on Monday at the Unnad Tennis Academy in Lucknow, with support of the State Bank of India and the All India Tennis Association.
The five-day tournament features players from Uttar Pradesh and other states of the country.
The tournament was inaugurated by Shri Sharad S. Chandak, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, under the auspices of Shri Puneet Agrawal, Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Tennis Association. Shri Chandak inaugurated the tournament with a strong motivational message to all players.
On the first day, Uttar Pradesh players dominated the competition. Yash Varma of Lucknow, along with Uttar Pradesh's Man Kesarwani, Sajal Kesarwani, Anand Prakash Gupta, and Piyush Priyadarshi, displayed excellent performances to secure their places in the pre-quarterfinals.
