Mumbai: In a landmark announcement for Indian reality television, JioStar has unveiled the simultaneous rollout of six regional editions of the Bigg Boss franchise set to premiere this festive season in September. Marking the largest multi-language expansion in the show's 20-year history, the new seasons will broadcast simultaneously across the JioStar television network and stream on JioHotstar.
The upcoming edition features a star-studded lineup of iconic hosts across languages. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan returns to front the Hindi version, while former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly makes his debut as the host of Bigg Boss Bangla. The Southern regional editions will be anchored by Vijay Sethupathi (Tamil), Mohanlal (Malayalam), Kichcha Sudeepa (Kannada), and Akkineni Nagarjuna (Telugu).
