Emraan Hashmi Back As Shivam In Awarapan Two Teaser

Mumbai:  Nearly two decades after the original cult classic redefined the romantic-action genre in Bollywood, the highly anticipated official teaser for Awarapan 2 has finally been unveiled. The brief first look marks the grand return of Emraan Hashmi in his most iconic and emotionally tortured avatar, Shivam Pandit, sending waves of excitement and nostalgia through a massive fanbase.  

Directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Vishesh Bhatt, the sequel introduces a fresh chapter in Shivam's tragic universe. The teaser sets a somber, cinematic tone, opening with Hashmi riding a motorcycle across a barren desert landscape. In a heartbreaking nod to the 2007 original film, he is seen placing a rose at the grave of his long-lost love, Aaliyah.

The narrative then shifts into high gear, showcasing intense, high-octane action sequences and deep emotional conflict. Joining the franchise for this installment are actors Disha Patani and veteran star Shabana Azmi, who reportedly steps into a powerful antagonistic role.  

However, the crowning jewel of the teaser is undoubtedly the background score. The makers have introduced Toh Phir Aao 2.0, a re-imagined version of the classic chartbuster originally sung by Mustafa Zahid. Recomposed by Mithoon with lyrics by Sayeed Quadri, the hauntingly beautiful melody runs throughout the promo, delivering instant goosebumps to listeners.  

Shivam's Haunting Promise: Narrated entirely in Emraan Hashmi's signature heavy voiceover, the teaser concludes with a chilling, high-stakes dialogue: "Is baar yeh awarapan khatam hoga, ya main."  Fans quickly flooded social media with emotional reactions, praising Hashmi's unmatched screen presence and the soulful soundtrack. The film is officially scheduled to hit cinemas worldwide on August 14, 2026, promising an intense theatrical experience driven by love, loss, and ultimate redemption.
