ISLAMABAD- The World Bank has officially approved $700 million in financing for Pakistan to support nationwide macroeconomic stability. This funding, released under the PRID-MPA initiative, aims to improve fiscal management and ensure more efficient public service delivery across the federal and provincial sectors.
Out of the approved sum, $600 million is earmarked for federal development, while $100 million will support specialized reforms in Sindh. These efforts prioritize fairer tax systems and predictable funding for clinics and schools, ultimately strengthening Pakistan's fragile economic foundations.
