NEW DELHI- Vedanta’s iron ore major, Sesa Goa, has successfully saved nearly 8 million units of energy in FY25. By implementing AI-driven digitization, tech upgrades, and Electric Vehicle (EV) wheel loaders, the company has significantly reduced its carbon footprint and operational energy intensity.
Aligned with India's Clean Energy Initiative, this saving can power over 6,000 households annually. Featuring a 65 MW Waste Heat Recovery plant, Sesa Goa continues to lead sustainable mining practices, aiming for absolute carbon neutrality and ESG excellence by 2050.
