New Delhi : Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi launched a fierce counterattack against Prime Minister Narendra Modi following the Centre's announcement of fast-track courts for paper leak cases, asserting that the Prime Minister himself has harmed the future of India's youth the most. Rejecting the government's newly proposed judicial safeguards as insufficient, the Congress leader alleged that the administration allowed the systematic capture and destruction of national education structures while shielding accountable individuals.

Responding directly to Prime Minister Modi's public assurance, Gandhi maintained that fast-track court frameworks fail to resolve institutional breakdowns within testing agencies or address police actions taken against peacefully agitating students. Reaffirming the opposition's stance alongside protesting student groups, including the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), Gandhi reiterated three non-negotiable demands: the immediate dismissal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, an official government apology to affected candidates, and strict legal action against personnel involved in physical violence against demonstrators.
