Delhi Police Claims CJP Protest Hijacked By Outside Anti Social Elements Sparking Clashes

New Delhi : Senior officials of the Delhi Police made serious disclosures regarding the ongoing agitation led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), alleging that the student-led demonstration at Jantar Mantar has been completely hijacked by outside anti-social elements.

Addressing the media following a series of violent clashes, law enforcement representatives stated that extremist groups and non-student agitators infiltrated the crowd to provoke confrontations with security personnel.

According to police sources, rogue elements positioned themselves behind genuinely demonstrating students before launching sudden, coordinated physical attacks on uniformed officers using sharp stones, glass bottles, and improvised missiles.

The sudden escalation resulted in injuries to senior officers, including Assistant Commissioners of Police, along with multiple field constables deployed along barricaded perimeters. Investigators revealed that analysis of CCTV footage, drone captures, and mobile recordings indicates pre-planned incitement designed to cause public disorder across central Delhi.

Law enforcement authorities emphasized that security forces exercised maximum restraint to ensure student safety, avoiding heavy force while managing aggressive crowds. However, with anti-social actors taking operational control of key protest pockets, additional paramilitary units and specialized riot-control formations have been deployed around Parliament Street and surrounding arterial avenues.

Multiple First Information Reports (FIRs) have been registered under strict statutory provisions covering criminal conspiracy, assault on public servants, and destruction of public property. Delhi Police reiterated that while peaceful assembly remains a constitutional right, violent elements exploiting student movements for ulterior motives will face immediate, stringent legal prosecution.
