Lucknow: Bharti Airtel has introduced a groundbreaking AI-powered spam detection system in Uttar Pradesh, providing significant relief to its customers. Within the first 7 days of launch, the telecom giant successfully identified 112 million potential spam calls and 600,000 spam SMS. This service is automatically activated for all Airtel users, free of cost, and requires no additional app downloads or requests from customers.
Airtel Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand CEO Sovan Mukherjee emphasized the growing concerns of fraud and spam in the digital age. He highlighted that this AI-powered solution not only offers real-time protection from spam but also enhances user experience by offering safety and convenience. Airtel’s innovative network system efficiently scans calls and SMS, flagging suspicious activity and safeguarding its 55 million customers across the state.
