Pratapgarh. In the 5 assembly constituencies Rampurkhas, Vishwanathganj, Pratapgarh, Patti and Raniganj falling under Pratapgarh Parliamentary constituency, 1833312 voters will be able to exercise their franchise on Saturday, 25th May 2024, which includes male voters 970013, female voters 863294 and third gender voters 05.
After completing all the preparations for voting in Pratapgarh district in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha general election, 1902 polling parties were dispatched to ATL ground.
To ensure that the voting is conducted safely, fairly, peacefully and without any hindrance in the district, adequate paramilitary forces, PAC and police forces and home guards have been deployed who will keep an eye on every activity in their respective areas.
The General Observer and District Magistrate directed all the Zonal and Sector Magistrates that after getting the EVMs, VVPATs and election material from the respective counters to the polling parties of their respective areas, they should leave for their polling booths in the designated vehicles.
Paramilitary forces, PAC and police personnel of the security force have been deployed who will maintain peace and law and order in their respective areas.
On this occasion, District Development Officer Rakesh Prasad, Project Director DRDA RC Sharma, District School Inspector Sardar Singh, District Basic Education Officer Bhupendra Singh along with Dr. Vindhyachal Singh, Dr. Mohammad Anees, Dharmendra Kumar Ojha etc. gave special support in the departure of polling parties.
