Basti:Mahesh Shukla, Vice Chairman of the Cow Service Commission, emphasized the Yogi Adityanath government’s commitment to safeguarding livestock and enhancing farmers' incomes. Speaking to reporters at the Circuit House, he assured that effective and practical measures will be taken swiftly to address these pressing issues.
Shukla acknowledged the dire conditions of government and privately run cow shelters, particularly during monsoon season when flooding occurs, leading to animal fatalities. He promised that all received suggestions would be taken seriously, with resolutions to these problems at the state level. He urged administrative officials to free grazing lands from encroachment, highlighting the importance of community involvement in cow protection and dairy production.
