Ambedkar Nagar: The District Magistrate met the local people and inquired about their problems and directed the concerned departmental officers to resolve their problems. He also stressed on punctuality and said that all officers and employees should be present in the office on time.

The warehouse in-charge was found present in the Agriculture Department, but as there was no lighting arrangement in the warehouse, the District Magistrate instructed to make better lighting arrangements. The Krishi Bhawan building was in a very dilapidated condition, on which the District Magistrate instructed the concerned officer to get it repaired.

He also directed to get the bushes growing around the toilets cleaned in the block and to get the entire premises maintained regularly. District Magistrate Avinash Singh conducted a surprise inspection of Tanda Block, in which he reviewed the Agriculture Department, Child Development Nutrition Department, Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission Rural Development Department and Panchayati Raj Department established in the area.

During the inspection, the Block Development Officer of Tanda was found absent, who had gone to Bhiti for a meeting, but ADO Panchayat Akhilesh Kumar Gaur was found present in the Block Panchayat. The District Magistrate took stock of the cleanliness of the block premises and various departments, in which the cleanliness system was found to be unsatisfactory. The angry District Magistrate gave strict orders to the Joint Block Development Officer to get the development block cleaned immediately.

He directed that if sufficient supply of nutrition is found in the Child Development Nutrition Department, then it should be distributed. The nutrition register was also inspected. Assistant Development Officer ISB and APO were present in National Livelihood Mission. During the inspection, the District Magistrate directed the Block Development Officer to ensure seating arrangements and availability of drinking water for the public in the block.

He inspected the register related to the activities of the Gram Vikas Adhikaris and directed the officers to provide a list of the top three works being carried out under MNREGA in the Gram Panchayats, in which the maximum number of workers are engaged. The District Magistrate also directed the BMM to visit the villages and make people aware about employment opportunities.
