New Delhi: In a significant demonstration outside the Chinese embassy, members of the Bharat-Tibet Sahayog Manch and other patriotic organizations paid homage to the martyrs of the 1962 India-China war. Led by leaders like Bhushan Kumar Jain and Rajeev Joli Khosla, they emphasized the necessity of opposing the massive trade conducted by China in India. Khosla underscored that the COVID-19 pandemic was a "death sentence" imposed by China, calling for a unified front against these aggressions.

The tribute included a reflection on historical ties between India and China, starting from the signing of the Panchsheel Agreement in 1954, aimed at fostering peaceful relations. Despite efforts for amicable ties, the situation deteriorated after India's asylum of the Dalai Lama in 1959. Khosla stated that despite the shared past, the trust between the two nations eroded, leading to the unavoidable conflict in 1962.
