Trilokpur Temple Trust Approves Twenty Three Crore Budget And Streamlines Donation Accounting Systems

Nahan :  The Mata Bala Sundari Temple Trust at Trilokpur in the Sirmaur district has approved a annual budget of ₹23 crore for the upcoming financial year, placing a strong emphasis on infrastructure modernization, pilgrim welfare, and enhanced operational transparency.

The meeting, chaired by local administrative authorities and temple trustees, finalized major budgetary allocations to manage the influx of devotees during peak pilgrimage periods, particularly the bi-annual Navratri fairs that draw hundreds of thousands of pilgrims from across northern India.

A major highlight of the budget meeting was the decision to fully streamline and digitize the temple’s donation accounting mechanism. Under the upgraded system, all cash contributions, online payments, and in-kind offerings of precious metals will be tracked through an integrated software platform. This digital audit framework is designed to eliminate recording delays, ensure real-time financial tracking, and maintain strict accountability across all temple revenue channels.

Additionally, a substantial portion of the ₹23-crore allocation is earmarked for expanding physical infrastructure around the shrine complex. Planned developments include constructing spacious waiting halls, upgrading sanitation facilities, expanding multi-level parking areas, and setting up advanced queue management systems. Security measures will also be reinforced through the installation of high-definition CCTV surveillance networks and dedicated medical response posts.

Trust officials reiterated that surplus funds would continue to support social welfare initiatives, including the daily operation of free community kitchens (langars), healthcare assistance for needy visitors, and environmental conservation around the temple hillock. The new measures aim to offer a seamless, secure, and transparent experience for all visiting worshippers.
