LUCKNOW-In a monumental move for India's QSR industry, Sapphire Foods India is set to merge with Devyani International Ltd (DIL). This strategic consolidation of Yum! Brands’ largest franchisees will create a fast-food giant boasting over 3,000 outlets and a combined turnover of ₹8,000 crore.
The Sapphire-Devyani merger involves a 177:100 share-swap ratio, uniting KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell under one umbrella. Promoted by the Jaipuria family’s RJ Corp, the new entity will dominate markets across India, Nepal, Nigeria, and Sri Lanka, optimizing supply-chain efficiency.
