Nagrota Bagwan Student Proudly Attends Prestigious Union Ministry Prerana Programme In Gujarat

Nagrota Bagwan :  In a moment of immense pride for Himachal Pradesh, Vanshika Rana, a dedicated Class XII student from Green Field Senior Secondary School in Nagrota Bagwan, successfully participated in the esteemed 'Prerana' programme.

Organized by the Union Ministry of Education, this highly competitive week-long residential initiative took place in the historic town of Vadnagar, Gujarat.  Remarkably, Vanshika was one of only two students selected from the entire state of Himachal Pradesh to attend this coveted national-level leadership and experiential learning camp.

Thousands of young learners from across the country had applied for the opportunity, making her final selection a significant academic milestone for both her institution and the state's education sector.

 The Prerana programme is a unique initiative designed to nurture essential human values, develop core leadership skills, and instill a strong spirit of nation-building among students spanning Classes IX to XII.

During the camp, Vanshika actively participated in a variety of interactive modules, ranging from regional cultural exchanges and thematic value-based lessons to hands-on technological activities and heritage site visits.

The curriculum, rooted heavily in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, beautifully blends India's rich historical traditions with modern, innovative thinking.  Accompanied by her escort teacher, Pooja Sen, Vanshika engaged directly with expert mentors from prestigious national institutions. The daily schedule featured morning yoga and mindfulness sessions, followed by intensive problem-solving workshops and evening talent exhibitions aimed at broadening the students' national perspective.

 Upon her return, the management, principal, and teaching staff at Green Field Senior Secondary School warmly congratulated Vanshika on her outstanding achievement. Educators noted that her successful participation will encourage other local students to aim for similar national platforms, turning her into a motivated changemaker for her immediate community.
